All of the acts taking part will be battling it out for one of 12 places in the final of the competition, which will take place at the Event UK exhibition from 21-22 September at the NEC in Birmingham.
Acts are now being asked to put themselves forward for the heats in the hope of scooping the top prize: a contract with entertainment agency Sternberg Clarke and a £1,000 cash prize. If you think you have what it takes to win The Next Big Thing .
