Event TV: RSA House hosts Enlightened Evening

Last Thursday (27 September) RSA House celebrated the re-opening of its event spaces with an 'Enlightened Evening' of food, drinks and entertainment.

Around 250 guests were taken on a journey through the building, showcasing areas that benefitted from the £3m nine-month renovation and refurbishment project.

Guests registered using interactive screens which displayed their photo so everyone could see who had arrived.

Caterer Harbour and Jones served molecular cocktails and canapés in the Benjamin Franklin Room while contact jugglers from Sternberg Clarke mingled with guests.

Guests then moved on to the Great Room for a visual display by Vanguardia, showcasing the venue’s new AV facilities.

For the final part of the evening, partygoers descended into the Vaults for a taste of RSA’s 2012 Christmas party theme ‘Sinatra Sings Christmas’ and tucked into American inspired eats including Chicago-style hot dogs, macaroni cheese and crispy peppered crayfish and slaw. Desserts included an ice cream stall and sweet canapé frame serving colourful macaroons, fruit jelly pastilles, chocolate honeycombs and lollies.

Mango Pie provided event design, Fisher Productions the bars and lighting, floral design was supplied by Mary Jane Vaughan and furniture by Velvet Living.
