Event TV: News round-up with TBA

Guy Horner, managing director of agency TBA, shares his views on some of the hottest issues of the week.

In the week that Love Luton festival announced losses of £394,000, Horner talks about what impact the Olympics had on local events, and says that festivals could be reaching saturation point.

On the rise of secret venues and pop-up events, Horner says it’s good to see brands trying new, exciting ideas. "We have seen some great innovation from brands such as Gillette using a secret event to be different, but creating an experience that resonates with consumers," he commented.

Horner also has some controversial views on the proposed demolition of Earls Court. To find out what they are, you’ll need to watch our video.
