More than 700 glamorous industry representatives attended an evening of surprises, great hospitality and those all-important award announcements.
The night's big winner was The Lounge Group, which scooped the Grand Prix Award for winning the Best Brand Experience Event for it’s Havana Club Mint Revolution experience, and Best Brand Activity at a Festival or Public Event thanks to its Lynx Social Showering activation at V Festival. .
Other winners included the Ignite team, which won Brand Experience Agency of the Year for the second consecutive year, and Media 10, winning Exhibition Organiser of the Year Award for shows such as Ideal Home Show, Grand Designs Live and EcoVelocity.
The Act of the Year award was voted for live on the night, with F2 Football Tricksters pipping High on Heels and Wandering Hands to the award.
TV presenter George Lamb was host for the evening, and even OK! magazine came along to cover the event.
This is the first year the Event Awards has had a headline sponsor in the form of Late Night London.
