The past 12 months has been the busiest yet for ITV’s in-house events team. It delivered more than 250 event activations, with highlights including Fever Pitch – ITV’s first World Cup fan experience – the launch of the ITVBe channel with a star-studded red carpet event, and the largest annual ITV Upfronts for commercial clients.

It also managed to cram in roadshows for 4,000 colleagues, as well as the launch of Bear Grylls’ new series with a stunt of him smashing through This Morning’s window live on television.

In the same period, changes were made to the structure of the events team to better support the business and its stakeholders, and to provide more progression opportunities for team members.

The team was strengthened with the addition of new members, growing to a core group of 14. Together they played a big part in ITV’s double-digit profit growth success across every part of the business.
