This year’s revitalised Event Awards will take place on Friday 20 September at the Royal Lancaster Hotel. Event editor Mike Fletcher said: “We have changed some of the categories and dropped others to reflect the magazine’s new focus.” ‘Best brand experience’ is a new category and includes all forms of live event where the brand is key to the overall strategy. The category is divided into ‘Low-cost solution’ and ‘High-cost solution’. The ‘Client Personal- ity of the Year’ category has been dropped. The deadline for entries is Friday 17 May.
