Event Awards 2016 shortlist revealed

The shortlist for this year's Event Awards has been announced today (26 July) and includes brands such as Google, Nike, Topshop, Barclays, L'Oréal and Clarins.

The Event Awards 2016 are already proving to be highly competitive, with more than 300 entries from agencies, brands and partners across 23 categories. The Best Brand Experience (B2C) category will be hotly contested with more than 35 entries.

Editor-in-chief Yasmin Arrigo said: "The scale and excellence of this year's entries means that in several categories, projects need to already be scoring above 80% in order to make the shortlist. Our judging panel has scored and selected the very best campaigns from a pool of brilliant work – so everyone on the shortlist should feel justifiably proud. We can't wait to celebrate with you in October!"

The Event Awards will take place on Thursday 13 October at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London.
