Eurotunnel is blaming its poor retail sales on the culling of duty-free sales in the EU.

LONDON (Brand Republic) – Eurotunnel is blaming its poor retail sales on the culling of duty-free sales in the EU. The company’s retail revenue fell from £93m in the first half of last year to £26m in the same period this year. Operating profits rose to £91m from £82m last year, and the company’s shuttle revenue was £147m – a rise of 29%.
