Eurostar unveils tourism guides

Eurostar is trying to boost its weekend break revenue with the launch of travel guides for destinations in France and Belgium.

The first Living For The Weekend guide will focus on the 2004 European Capital of Culture, Lille, for which Eurostar is the official UK carrier of the year.

Developed in partner-ship with integrated agency Space, it will be distributed to more than 300,000 people in the UK via The Guardian.

It will also be backed by a London press campaign devised by TBWA\London that will appear in the Evening Standard and Metro this month.

The guides will highlight the main attractions of each destination and provide recommendations on hotels, restaurants and the best shopping areas.
