Eurostar dumps TBWA\London

LONDON - TBWA\London has lost its £10 million Eurostar account.

Eurostar dumps TBWA\London

The agency was informed by Eurostar marketing chief, Greg Nugent, that it had not made the second stage of the ongoing pitch. Mother, too, was ruled out.

The decision leaves Fallon, Glue London and Beattie McGuinness Bungay to battle it out. Last month Lowe withdrew from the pitch process to concentrate on existing clients.

The news ends Eurostar’s seven-year relationship with TBWA\London. It won the account in November 2000 after a review against Publicis, Lowe Lintas and the incumbent, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R.

The review process started last November, with the initial shortlist of six drawn up a month later.

Media is handled by Vizeum and not included in the review.
