Eurosport in shuffle of senior sales roles

Eurosport has restructured its sales department and created a new

commercial strategy and development department, which will be run out of

its Paris office.

Eurosport's sales director, Dominic Burns, has been promoted to director

of the commercial department and will relocate to Paris.

Liz Jones, deputy sales director, who has worked at Eurosport for

four-and-a-half years, will take on the position of sales director.

Burns and Jones will both report to Jean-Yvef Bonsergent, deputy

managing director of Eurosales.

Burns will look at what Eurosport is calling 'special operations' -

exploring commercial opportunities other than straight advertising. He

will also handle Eurosport's marketing and trade communications.

Meanwhile, sales manager David Orman has taken the role of deputy sales

director, reporting to Jones. Orman will continue to sell to a raft of

agencies, chiefly Carat.

Completing the moves, Claire Holland has been promoted to sales manager

from group head. She will run the Zenith and Media Planning Group

accounts.
