It beat off competition from MM Teleperformance, Experian and HLB to scoop the top award. The win marks the second time in five years that EuroDirect has picked up the top prize.
Judges were impressed by EuroDirect's customer service, its consistent growth and its innovative products. In the past year the company has attracted more than 150 new clients. Last year, it increased pre-tax profits by 10 per cent compared with 2003.
Sixteen golds were awarded for categories ranging from best work in mailing and fulfilment to best work by a field marketing agency.
As well as winning Supplier of the Year, EuroDirect also picked up the award for best work by a database bureau.
Rosemary Smith, managing director of RSA Direct and chairman of the judges, said the Smart Awards "are unique in representing the huge breadth of DM work and the suppliers' role in achieving success."
