Euro RSCG Interaction's Rodgers named as juror for Cannes Cyber Lions

LONDON - Scott Rodgers, creative director at Euro RSCG Interaction, has been named to the jury of the Cannes Cyber Lions for the 52nd International Advertising Festival as judges for this year's Media Lions and Cyber Lions were revealed.

PJ Pereira, vice-president and creative director of AKQA San Francisco, will lead the Cyber Lions jury. The winners will be named in Cannes on Wednesday June 22.

Other members of the jury are: Nicke Bergstrom, creative director at Sweden's FarFar, which was recently acquired by Aegis; Kris Kiger, executive creative director at R/GA; and Glen Sheehan, creative director for digital at Young & Rubicam Brands. Sheehan and Kiger are from the US.

On the Media Lions jury, Marc Mendoza, CEO of the Media Planning Group, is representing the UK. The media jury this year is being headed by Mark Stewart, executive vice-president and chief strategy officer of Universal McCann. The winners will be announced on Tuesday June 21.

Other media jury members this year include: John Sintras, chief operating officer of Starcom Worldwide, from Australia; Eric de Rugy, president of Mediaedge:cia, France; and Renetta McCann, CEO for the Americas at Starcom MediaVest Group.

Terry Savage, CEO of the festival, said: "These two now established festival competitions will be judged by two very strong international juries, each composed of the most respected personalities at the forefront of the media and interactive industries."
