Espotting overhauled to become Miva

Sponsored online search network Espotting has re-branded today to become Miva, as part of a move to create a single brand for the business after its merger with Findwhat.com.

The re-branding will see the creation of three divisions to run the company鈥檚 various businesses, with the Espotting and Findwhat.com advertising networks coming under the new Miva Media strand.

The move comes amid the ongoing rise of Google in the sponsored search arena, although Espotting acts primarily as a broker between clients and online media owners.

Findwhat.com and Espotting joined forces 18 months ago, but bosses said today the new name and strategy - which is said to be have been under development for nine months - will give the company a single and global vision.

The two remaining divisions under the new Miva brand will cover a small business solutions team and a direct marketing software development division.
