ESPN Radio 'cat sitting' by Wieden & Kennedy

ESPN Radio, the American sports radio network, has launched a US-only ad campaign created by Wieden & Kennedy New York, featuring several of its radio DJs.

The campaign includes three spots, each featuring a different DJ in a humorous situation involving the network's listeners.

The idea behind the spots is to communicate the idea that the network's shows are so beloved by their audiences that listeners feel they personally know the DJs.

ESPN Radio was launched to expand ESPN's sports news franchise. It premiered on January 1 1992 with weekday, drive-time commentaries on 170 stations.

It is now the nation's largest sports network with more than 700 affiliates, and the only 24/7 talk network to boast play-by-play rights for sports such as Major League Baseball, the World Series, and the NBA.
