EMS will take a mobile unit on the road 52 weeks of the year. The vehicle takes cancer treatment, support and advice to the heart of the South Wales community.

Welsh former footballer John Hartson, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year, helped launch the extended campaign (EMS had worked on the project before it got its two-year stint confirmed).

"Over 3,000 people have visited our mobile unit since the campaign launched in February," said Tenovus Mobile Unit manager Duncan Innes. "Having received an extremely positive response to the initiative, we'll now be working with EMS to reach a larger number of patients across a wider geographic area."
