Empire celebrates Indiana Jones with four covers

Emap is to publish its film magazine Empire with four different covers this month to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark.

The publisher has commissioned four original illustrated cover designs, all featuring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and has tinted Emap's red logo in orange and yellow to reflect the movie's iconic logo.
Three of the editions will go on newsstands and the fourth is a subscriber-only edition that carries no coverlines.
Empire has devoted 35 pages to its look back at the movie, including interviews with Ford, director Steven Spielberg, producer George Lucas.
It is Empire's second attempt at a ‘retro' cover, following a special edition to mark the re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy.
The themed issue goes on sale on 28 August.
