Emirates to add to agency roster

Emirates is expanding its global roster of ad agencies as it grows its fleet of air-craft and develops its resort offering.

The Dubai airline uses a network of about 40 agencies chosen to suit individual markets. It has asked several shops to pitch for a corporate campaign to promote its Emirates Hotels & Resorts brand, including some it has not used before.

The airline is also in the early stages of developing briefs for a campaign to back the launch of its Boeing 777s with flat beds, and fleet of 45 Airbus 380-800 aircraft.

In the UK, Emirates works with Leagas Delaney, while MediaCom handles media planning and buying. Globally, Grey Italy oversees Southern Europe and Saatchi & Saatchi Frankfurt handles Northern Europe.
