Emap hires three for consumer division

Emap has boosted the digital team for its consumer division with two new directors.

Ex-eBay head of motors and category development Andrew Robb has joined as lifestyle digital director, as the publisher looks to branch out into e-commerce.

Ralph Percival, who also has a background in e-commerce, has joined Emap Consumer Media as specialist digital director.

He was previously e-commerce and business-to-business group board director at Jessops.

They will both work to build online communities, take Emap brands to different platforms and increase the company's use of e-commerce.

Meanwhile, Brenda Gordon, previously new business manager at Guardian News and Media, has joined Emap Consumer Media as head of business development.
