The London-based agency was appointed in 2002 with a brief to revamp the existing site, which was difficult to use and out of date.
The new site bills itself as the number one choice for quality martial arts DVDs and videos featuring stars such as Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee and Jet Li.
Working with aitch:creative, the offline design agency of Medusa Communications, which owns Hong Kong Legends, the launch this week is the first phase of an integrated system that will take care of ordering, CRM and fulfilment management.
Nick Willis, creative director of Egovision, said: "Hong Kong Legends has only been soft launched and it has already seen significant uptake in sales. With core elements in place, it means the website is in position to become a true application service, underpinning the whole order and fulfilment process."
The site uses Egovision's own content management system and affiliate programme managing the enquiries and orders through an integrated system.
Paul Teal, direct marketing manager at Hong Kong Legends and Medusa, said: "The new site is already beginning to bring in an impressive uptake in orders and we expect greater things when we begin to push the website and products more aggressively. We're pleased with Egovision's delivery of the project, and are looking forward to them rolling out the subsequent phases to complete the website and CRM and eCRM overhaul."
