EDITORIAL: Ingram's departure seemed inevitable

Tamara Ingram's departure from the helm of McCann-Erickson London will come as no surprise to those who hoped for the best but feared the worst when she took the job 15 months ago.

McCann and her former agency, Saatchi & Saatchi, may be within spitting distance of each other but are poles apart culturally. And with Ingram's effervescent personality in complete contrast to the no-nonsense management style of her boss, Ben Langdon, the outcome seemed all too predictable.
