Editorial: Direct Awards show discipline on the up
Congratulations to all the agencies who walked away with a trophy at this week's ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 Direct Awards. At the two-day judging session, there was none of the all-too-habitual moaning about the industry's poor creative standards. Instead, there was a genuine feeling that the medium was growing in confidence, backed by a real sense of creative improvements. Of course, there is still an awful lot of drivel produced by direct marketing agencies, but then that's also true for their above-the-line peers.
