LONDON - Ben Todd, the editor of Bauer Media's Zoo magazine, has left his role at the title.

Zoo... editor departs

Todd joined Zoo as the deputy editor at the start of 2007 from the Sunday Mirror where he had been the assistant editor for three years. He became the editor of the lads' mag one month later.

Todd said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my time leading Britain's best men's weekly. But after editing more than 120 issues of the funniest, off-kilter, sexy and topical magazine, it's time for me to move on. I wish the Zoo team all the success in the future."

Zoo saw a double-digit decline in its circulation to 145,555 for the year to December 2008.
