Created by Archibald Ingall Stretton, the work will reach elderly people through a mix of posters, booklets and bookmarks.

WRVS runs a network of 55,000 volunteers who closely with the elderly. Materials will appear in day centres, hospital notice boards and canteens, as well as being handed out by volunteers on the doorstep.

The campaign creates heroes out of WRVS volunteers, with each of the three executions featuring a close up portrait of one volunteer. Shots have been carefully retouched to ensure the vitality and ‘realness' of the individual come across.

All creative ends with a call for people to "Ask a volunteer for more information about how they can help you stay safe, warm and well".

John Denyer, Marketing Communications Manager at EDF Energy, said the campaign "successfully dramatises the life changing work the volunteers carry out on a daily basis, as well as highlighting their strong and important relationships with the people they support."
