Eden, which is a sustainable catering company based in Waterloo, was appointed as caterer to Glazier Hall this week.
The venue, which was the official House of Switzerland during the London 2012 Olympics, has created a programme to develop its environmentally friendly credentials.
Samantha Enstone, managing director at Glaziers Hall said: "Environmental credentials play an increasingly important role in our business which is why we continue to build our sustainability and green policies.
"We could not win high profile green clients including Body Shop or continue to work with Swiss companies without these credentials."
Sixty-seven per cent of Eden’s ingredients are bred or grown in the UK and no waste goes to landfill, while all vegetable and fruit waste is donated to a local city farm for compost.
"We welcome Eden Caterers to Glaziers Hall on our journey to be a sustainable, smarter business," added Enstone.
