EBay appoints DLKW Dialogue for online project

LONDON - EBay has hired DLKW Dialogue to develop an online project to appear towards the end of the year.

Direct marketing agency DLKW Dialogue is believed to have pitched against Glue London and start-up agency Lean Mean Fighting Machine.

The appointment comes after EBay named sister advertising agency Delaney Lund Knox Warren its retained creative agency in March ahead of its first major offline marketing push in the UK.

EBay is staying tight-lipped about its marketing plans but has completely overhauled its agency roster this year. The dotcom appointed PHD its media agency and hired start-up agency Seventy Seven to handle its PR. Ebay does not have a retained digital agency.

The shake-up comes after last year's appointment of Iain Hildreth as EBay's head of brand and offline marketing. He joined from Barclays, where he was the head of brand experience.
