The Easyopinions tool has been created in-house and will track false reviews posted online by fraudulent online site users.
Users will now be required to register on the travel comparison website, putting an end to anonymous reviews. People will have to identify themselves by creating a profile and providing their name, a photo and the dates they stayed at a hotel before posting a comment.
Once a comment has been posted online, the site's travel journalists, called "Easyexperts", will check and research the information before publishing it on the site.
Jean Pierre Nadir, chief executive, Easyvoyage Group, said: "As Europe's largest travel portal with sites available in France, Spain, Germany, the UK and Italy, our aim is to become the leading source for unbiased hotel reviews and we encourage quality advice over quantity.
"With this new and unique tool, online visitors can now rely on authentic reviews of travellers' experiences on a Europe-wide scale and will therefore be able to make better informed choices when booking a holiday."
The new tool comes after Tripadvisor, the consumer travel review site and Easyvoyage's direct competitor, faced UK legal action from hotels claiming the site's customer reviews were defamatory and false.
A "group defamation action" is being brought against Tripadvisor by kwikchex.com, the online reputation services provider, and is ongoing.
A Tripadvisor spokesperson said: "Regarding KwikChex and their potential action against TripAdvisor, I am afraid we cannot comment on either threatened or pending litigation."
