
The multimillion-pound drive, created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO with media planning by MPG, spans TV, outdoor and digital. It introduces the strapline 'Welcome to East Coast'.
The first TV ad, which breaks on 22 May, features impressionist Rory Bremner travelling by train to his home town of Edinburgh.
Separately, East Coast is looking for a digital agency to handle its website build and design, eCRM and social media activity.
