Easigrass tailors for festivals with new sister company

Easigrass has launched a new event-focused brand following the installation of its largest amount of artificial grass for the Hard Rock Calling music festival last week.

The artificial grass company laid 30,000 square metres of its turf product in four days on behalf of Live Nation for the music event at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, which took place between 29 and 30 June.

The large-scale installation resulted in the company launching Easi-Event, the leisure arm of its business to cater for events such as festivals.

Anthony Gallagher, managing director at Easigrass, said: "What a few extraordinary days this has been. My whole team is so proud to be part of the London 2012 Olympic legacy. As we begin the summer festival season with an utterly dreary weather forecast, the outlook is positively bright in terms of our Easigrass product and how it can transform any interior or exterior space.

"The launch of our Easi-Event brand has been borne out of customer demand, not just from a practical perspective in relation to weather and comfort, but also in terms of brightening up any indoor or outdoor event, at any time of the year."
