EA signs model Klum for £2.5m Bond game ads

Video games publisher Electronic Arts (EA) is putting its biggest ever spend behind a James Bond title with a £2.5m blitz for the latest game in the series.

Supermodel Heidi Klum has signed as the face of the game. She will feature in TV, print and outdoor ads developed by OWN&P, which will break at the end of the month.

James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing goes on sale this week, available on the Play-Station 2, GameCube and Xbox consoles. It launched on GameBoy Advance last December.

EA has partnered with Xfm to run a promotion for the game on radio station Xfm. It will feature in on-air broadcasts and a James Bond-themed day on March 7.

The launch of the game comes as EA prepares a substantial marketing campaign to support its official game of the UEFA Euro 2004 football championships.
