Durex targets women with WAP service

Durex has unveiled a mobile WAP site to back its 'Brownie Points' above-the-line push for its Pleasuremax condom range.

The new service is aimed at women, who can reward their partners for 'good behaviour' by sending them a virtual brownie point and their own message via their mobile phones.

Users will be entered into a competition to win a year's supply of the condoms. The service, built by Que Pasa for Durex's interactive agency, McCann-i, backs a campaign which broke in men's magazines in January.

Andy O'Brien, head of content at McCann-i, said: "Que Pasa rightly recommended a WAP push as it gives us access to a much greater audience."
