Radiocentre is marking Mental Health Awareness Week by uniting the Duke of Cambridge with musician Katy Perry, comedian, actor and writer Stephen Fry, actress and activist Jameela Jamil and TV personality Alesha Dixon to talk about the value of listening.

The #MentalHealthMinute initiative will see the group create a minute-long message that will be broadcast simultaneously across hundreds of UK radio stations at 10.59am today, with the aim of emphasising the importance of really listening.

Radiocentre is working with Heads Together, the mental-health campaign spearheaded by The Royal Foundation, headed by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Siobhan Kenny, chief executive of Radiocentre, said: "We’re really proud to be bringing radio together for a second year, encouraging everyone to support each other and harness the power of listening."

The campaign was created by TBI Media.
