Dragons' Den winner debuts winner

New luxury title Wonderland, the brainchild of BBC2 Dragons' Den joint winner Huw Gwyther, will go on sale on 8 September.

The 212-page bi-monthly title, priced £4.95, will have an initial print run of 140,000 copies, of which publishers hope to sell between 80,000 and 100,000.

It will appear on newsstands in the UK and abroad, with an expected split of 55% sales in the UK, 20%in the US, 20%in Europe and the rest in Asia.

Targeted at male and female readers, Wonderland seeks to offer the "best of all visual culture". As well as fashion it will cover everything visual from product design to stage and film, speaking exclusively to trendsetters. The Aviator's film production designer, Dante Ferreti, features in the first issue.

Managing director Gwyther appeared on the BBC2 reality show Dragons' Den earlier this year. The programme saw contestants pitch business ideas to the expert "Dragons".

His project was backed by only one of the show's so-called experts, but Gwyther secured the largest single investment in the series, £175,000 in return for a 40% stake in the company.
