The agency was appointed after a pitch, and will now be responsible for creating a new TV, press and outdoor campaign that will roll out across several European markets later this year.
Draft's appointment marks the first time that Bausch & Lomb has held a retained European ad agency. The new campaign will focus on the company's history as eyecare specialists, and will aim to raise awareness of its existing range of products, including Pure Vision and SofLens contact lenses, and launch new products.
In previous years, Bausch & Lomb has either adapted work from other markets or worked with agencies on a project basis.
Earlier this year, the company handed OgilvyAction a brief to create a press and outdoor campaign in the UK to promote its SofLens brand.
