'Do you speak Micra?' - Nissan's new TV ad campaign

'Do you speak Micra?' is the question posed in Nissan's pan-European TV ad campaign for its new Micra, directed by cult film director David Lynch. The ad features the car moving through a surreal environment and shot from various quirky angles, including the perspective of a helicopter, as fireworks detonate under its wheels. The car's journey is intercut with a giant pair of blue lips that utter words from the Micra language, such as Spafe (which means spontaneous and safe), Smig (small and big), Thractical (thrilling and practical), and Luxurable (luxurious and affordable). Teasers broke last week, and the full version of the ad breaks on Wednesday (January 15). Creative was by Paris-based TBWA/G1 and media planned and bought through Carat.
