
DMG , and has now told Event that it will gradually phase out its consumer offerings to focus on B2B, starting with the sale of the Ideal Home Show.
"For strategic reasons we have decided to step away from consumer shows," said DMG corporate communications director Mia Eng. "Our expertise lies in business, which we will be focusing on and investing more money in."
"The Ideal Home Show is still popular considering market changes, and we are very excited to see it gain more investment," she added.
She added that DMG is "holding its own" in the economic climate, but declined to comment on how much she expects the show to be sold for.
