Lloyd was commended for successfully raising the profile of the industry during his time at the DMA and beyond.
Lloyd was among 11 DMA professionals to be honoured for their role in the industry. Ten people were awarded anniversary volunteer medals for their valuable voluntary work on behalf of the DMA over the past decade.
Joanna Reynolds from Readers Digest/HCI Direct/Time Life; John Hughes from the Mail Marketing Group; Alan Halfacre from GWC (Holdings) and Malcolm Whitmarsh all took away anniversary medal.
Also honoured were the Lettershop Group's John Hornby; Terry Gilbert from the Compact Group, Kevin Holland from Reader's Digest; Annette Kelley from HLB and David Coupe from Experian.
DMA chairman Jenny Moseley said: "The DMA has been through an incredible period of change and development over the past 10 years. It is now Europe's largest trade association in the marketing communications sector, while the direct marketing industry has grown dramatically in size and value to become one of the UK's top 10 industries with an annual spend of over 拢11bn."
She added: "This anniversary celebration has allowed us to say thank you to all of those people who have tirelessly worked to help shape the DMA, improve industry standards and perceptions of direct marketing."
