Disneyland Paris has appointed William Morris as its top marketer and hired Jo Rzymowska, commercial director of now defunct travel web site dreamticket.com, as managing director for UK, Ireland and Nordic.

Morris, in the new position of vice-president, brand management and marketing, will be based in Paris.

Disneyland Paris has been without a top marketer since the previous sales and marketing director, Philippe Spiette, left last year. It has now separated the sales and marketing functions.

Morris was previously director, sales and marketing, continental Europe for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Before that he was marketing and communications director at British Airways subsidiary Air Liberte.

Rzymowska will co-ordinate all above- and below-the-line marketing and will report to Morris. She will also aim to increase sales and improve distribution opportunities.

She joined dreamticket .com in November 1999, but the web site folded earlier this month.
