- Paul Robinson, the former Talk Radio managing director who departed following Kelvin MacKenzie's takeover of the radio station, has been named vice president and managing director of Disney UK.
Robinson was managing director of Talk Radio for two years. He attempted a management buy-out of the station when it was put up for sale by CLT-Ufa, but lost out to a bid by former editor of the Sun, MacKenzie, who was backed by Rupert Murdoch and venture capital funding.
Robinson previously spent five years with BBC Radio, where he held a variety of posts including head of strategy and development.
He replaces Tom Wszalek who has moved to head up Disney's Digital Television interests internationally.
