Smith most recently headed up the kitchens in the Media Centre at the London 2012 Olympic Games, serving international media in the Olympic Park.

He will join Dish in March. In his new role he will be responsible for recruiting and training chefs and will play an active role in customer liaison alongside the sales team.

Smith's experience includes working with top chefs Gordon Ramsay, Pierre Koffman, Bruno Loubet, John Campbell and Tom Aikens as well as for The Admirable Crichton and previously the National Museums Liverpool.

Nick James, director of Dish, said: "I am keen to capitalise on the success Dish has had to date and move forward with more innovative food styles and concepts."
