Direct News: Nissan supports Murano launch

Nissan is to promote the latest addition to its 4x4 range, the Murano, with a direct mail campaign through Tullo Marshall Warren.

The mailing will go out to 20,000 prospective customers, who will receive a booklet of material swatches. Each leaf is designed to explain one of three aspects of the vehicle - sport, luxury and 4x4.

The 'sport' section features a metal swatch denoting the Murano's metallic finish; the 'luxury' leather swatch represents interior quality; and the 4x4 swatch is embossed with tyre marks on PVC to reflect the model's 4x4 capabilities.

Customers will be encouraged to book a test-drive at a local dealer either directly or through the Nissan website.

This week Nissan is airing a TV campaign to support the launch of its Navara pick-up truck. The campaign, by TBWA\London, positions the model as 'the boss' of the pick-up category.
