Direct mail: Top 100 direct mailers
There is no shortage of issues afflicting the direct mail industry, with spend down 10% year on year, from 拢1.87bn to 拢1.68bn. Finance and mail order, the two top-spending categories, reduced their spend significantly as more work is moved online. In addition, despite talk of better targeting, rates of unopened mail have changed little.
