DIRECT BRIEFS: Reckitt Benckister to run marketing campaign for Calgon
Reckitt Benckiser is to run a door-to-door marketing campaign for its Calgon washing powder brand in a bid to raise awareness of the product in the UK. The two million-leaflet push will attempt to educate consumers about the damage that hard water can inflict on home appliances that use water, such as washing machines. It will run in conjunction with television advertising and in-store demonstrations. Leaflets will include a 50p-off coupon for Calgon purchases.
