Asda is running a promotional marketing campaign based on the film
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, which will be be released next
month.
The campaign, devised by The Marketing Store Worldwide, focuses on the
Harry Potter Coin Collection: 24 coins based on characters from the
movie.
Exclusive to Asda, the promotion also includes a savings book for
storing coins and retaining duplicates for swapping.
"Coin collection promotions have been extremely successful, allowing
children to create an exclusive collection," said Marketing Store Leeds
managing director Catherine Shuttleworth.
The promotion will run in all 247 UK Asda stores, as well as in the US
and Asia.
