DIARY: Chris Arnold indulges in spot of CV inflation for 'frank' Adobe talk

Word reached Diary this week that Chris Arnold, the shy and retiring founder of Feel, is to give a "frank talk" as an introduction to an advertising event sponsored by Adobe Systems.

But in the accompanying blurb we sense that Arnold is being somewhat less than frank with claims that he virtually invented UK direct marketing.

He claims to being "a founder of the ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 Direct Awards". And all along we thought the awards were founded by, erm, ±±¾©Èü³µpk10. Silly us.

Gary Sharpen may also take issue with Arnold's claim to have been the first director of integration at Saatchi & Saatchi - Arnold, in fact, replaced Sharpen in the position.

It's OK to exaggerate your achievements Chris. Just don't get caught doing it.
