Her signature will appear from today (Monday, 23 March) on a limited number of packs as part of a promotion that includes the Flora London Marathon charity effort.

Flora's owner Van den Bergh Foods has said it will roll out millions of tubs with Diana's signature imprinted on the side. It hopes in all to raise around £250,000 from the sale of the 'Thanks' promotional tubs for the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund

A further £1.2 million will go to the Fund from the marathon itself. Van den Bergh Foods will not benefit in any way, it says.

Flora is expected to be the first of a number of commercial products to use the signature logo, designed to commemorate Diana.

The commercial use of Diana's name has drawn criticism from some quarters, including Sir Elton John and Dame Barbara Cartland.
