When using the relaunched site of the Design Council, you inevitably
end up thinking mainly about its design.
It might be visually attractive, but I doubt whether it fulfils its
intended purpose. The problem is navigation: go to the ’About the Design
Council’ section, for example, and then to ’Why we’re here’, and you get a
series of six screens telling you about the Design Council’s mission. But
on some of them, the button which takes you to the next screen didn’t fit
within my browser. Move back out of this section and then return to it,
and you’re taken to the last page of the six, not the first one. Try to
find your way back to the home page, and you’ll struggle. It’s a pity,
because there’s a lot of useful and interesting stuff in there.
