Despite not being one of the best singers in the world, she is a master of reinvention: from soap star to Posh and Becks of the 80s alongside Jason Donovan, to film star to pop star. Now, the latest offering is the Love Kylie x underwear range.
What better business move than cashing in on her legendary posterior?
Hyped by the infamous Agent Provocateur ad, which was only shown in cinemas after being deemed too raunchy for TV, the range was guaranteed to be a hit with men. But what about women?
Kylie has said: "My aim is that the lingerie is fashionable, flirtatious, comfortable and enjoyable to wear." Although most of us will have to come to terms with the fact that no matter how "enjoyable to wear" it is, we are never going to look like her in it, it is nonetheless both sexy and sophisticated and I think most women would feel good in it.
And along with the likes of Agent Provocateur, Love Kylie x is making buying underwear for a loved one less 'seedy' for men.
One would think the underwear sector wouldn't have room for another brand. But Kylie has proved triumphant and once again found another arena where she more than adequately answers her critics.
