Dentsu takes control of Asia-Pacific agencies

Japanese advertising agency Dentsu has taken full control of its subsidiaries in Singapore and Malaysia, in a bid to offer a full agency service to clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

LONDON (Brand Republic) – Japanese advertising agency Dentsu has taken full control of its subsidiaries in Singapore and Malaysia, in a bid to offer a full agency service to clients in the Asia-Pacific region.

It previously held a 65% stake in the Singaporean arm and a 58.5% stake in Malaysia’s division.

The company has also dissolved its joint-venture agreement with Far-East-based Mandate Advertising International.
