Dennis Publishing loses interactive head Sneesby

LONDON - Guy Sneesby, managing director of Dennis Publishing's interactive division, is to leave the company after 14 years.

Sneesby, who founded the interactive division Dennis Interactive in 1996, is believed to be leaving to set up his own company.

Most recently, Sneesby has been responsible for running websites for magazine titles such as Maxim, Bizarre, Auto Express and Viz, as well as running a team of 44 designers, editors and sales and marketing executives. He also sits on the board of Dennis Publishing.

Sneesby joined Dennis in 1992 as editor of MacUser and went on to launch Dennis Interactive four years later. He was made managing director of interactive in 2001.

The news was announced internally about a month ago. However, he is staying on until a replacement is found.
